Eatable Gourmet popcorn is gourmet popcorn inspired by the drinks of happy hour. Their cooking process eliminates most of the alcohol content so you get the flavours of champagne, tequila, whiskey, etc without the buzz. They are gluten-free and made in Canada with no artificial ingredients (including high fructose corn syrup, palm oil, palm kernel oil, canola oil, caramel colour, confectioner's glaze, vanillin, titanium dioxide, and others commonly found in confections) They come in a resealable bag, which actually re-seals! Pop the Salt & Tequila - Añejo infused caramel popcorn is lightly coated with a crunchy layer of Añejo Tequila-infused caramel. The use of tequila and real butter adds a depth of flavour to the caramel. The lemon salt is a fun and zesty addition to the caramel which, although rich, is not too sweet. The mix of sweet, salty and sour was well balanced and harmonious. This is my first time trying EATABLE Popcorn and I could tell it would be a new favourite! I was worried the alcohol taste would be overpowering but it blended nicely with the caramel and the popcorn was so crisp right out of the bag. Upon opening the bag, I smell sweet butter and white chocolate. The flavour is delicate, but I taste the lemon salt and a hint of caramel. Unfortunately, I don’t taste the tequila at all (but it still tastes incredible!). The texture is light and airy with a subtle crunch. The popcorn is perfectly popped—no overly crunchy or hard bits. I honestly didn’t expect to love this flavour as much as I do! The Pop the Salt & Tequila popcorn has such a nice balance — a little salty, a hint of lemon, and that light tequila taste that comes through at the end. It’s so unique but really easy to snack on. The popcorn is covered in tender caramel and taken to give you an extraordinary experience. While Ive never been a popcorn girlie, I can now confirm that I am, in fact, just a popcorn sob. Pop the Salt & Tequila was hands-down my favourite. 🙌🏼 It was just the perfect balance of salty and sweet, with a soft little twist of lemon at the end that made it feel fresh instead of heavy. I loved how crispy and light it was and it left nary a kernel in my teeth.

Okay, this one surprised me. At first, you get that sweet crunch, and then out of nowhere, a little tequila note sneaks in. It’s not strong, just enough to make it different. And then the lemon salt? Soo good. It cuts through the sweetness and makes you want another handful right away. I love this flavour and ate almost half the bag in one sitting.
